Dorukmak — Privacy Notice

This notice is given under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of the Obligation to Inform, by Dorukmak Mak. İnş. Nak. San. ve Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“Dorukmak”) as data controller.

02 What we process, and through which channel

On this site your personal data is processed only through the forms you fill in, your cookie choice and the server logs kept for the site to run:

Quote form: name, company, e-mail, telephone, country, annual quantity, your message and the product code you asked about.
Contact form: name, company, e-mail, telephone, the department you chose and your message.
Job application: name, e-mail, telephone, the position applied for, your covering note, and the CV file you upload with the information in it.
With every form: the page it was sent from, the language, the version of the text you agreed to, your IP address and your browser details.
Cookies: the strictly necessary cookies the site needs, and analytics cookies when you allow them. Your cookie choice is recorded with an irreversible digest of your IP address.
Server logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser details.

Your education, experience and contact details are all a CV needs for your application to be assessed.

03 Purposes and legal grounds

Your data is processed on the legal grounds listed in Article 5 of the KVKK, for these purposes:

Assessing your quote request and making you an offer: directly related to the formation of a contract (Art. 5/2-c).
Routing your enquiry to the right department and answering it: Dorukmak’s legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f).
Assessing your job application: directly related to the formation of an employment contract (Art. 5/2-c).
Securing the forms, preventing misuse, and server logs: compliance with a legal obligation (Law No. 5651, Art. 5/2-ç) and Dorukmak’s legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f).
Strictly necessary cookies: Dorukmak’s legitimate interest in running the site (Art. 5/2-f).
Analytics cookies: your explicit consent (Art. 5/1), which you can withdraw at any time on the Cookie Preferences page.

Commercial electronic messages are sent only with the separate consent you give for them.

04 Who we share it with

Your request goes to the Dorukmak department that answers it.
The providers of the site’s hosting and e-mail process your data only on Dorukmak’s behalf and instructions, and only as far as the service requires.
When you allow analytics cookies, measurement data is processed by Google LLC on servers outside Türkiye. This transfer happens only with your consent.
Public authorities empowered by law, on their request and within a legal obligation.

05 How long we keep it

Quote and contact requests: for the business relationship concerned and, after it ends, for the retention period the law sets.
Job applications: 12 months from the date of application. When the period ends, the application is deleted automatically together with its CV file.
Your cookie choice: for the duration the Cookie Policy gives for each cookie.
Server logs: for the period the law sets.

Records past their period are deleted from backups too, when the backups’ own retention period ends.

06 Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may apply to Dorukmak to:

learn whether your personal data is processed,
request information about it if it is,
learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly,
know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred,
have it corrected if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
have it erased or destroyed under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK,
have a correction, erasure or destruction notified to the third parties it was transferred to,
object to an outcome against you that arises from analysis by automated systems alone,
claim compensation for damage suffered through unlawful processing.

07 How to apply

You can send your application, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, by one of these routes:

In writing: a signed letter delivered by hand or through a notary to Hasanağa OSB Mah., HOSAB Sanayi Cd. No:56, Nilüfer / Bursa. Writing “KVKK Bilgi Talebi” on the envelope brings it to the right department quickly.
Electronically: with a secure electronic or mobile signature, or from the e-mail address you have given Dorukmak before and that is on record, to info@dorukmak.com.tr.

Your application gives your name, your signature for a written application, your Turkish identity number (nationality and passport number for foreign nationals), your address for notification, your e-mail address and telephone number if you have them, and what you are asking for.

It is answered free of charge as soon as its nature allows, and within thirty days at the latest. Where the answer carries a separate cost, the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board applies.
