The metal part is ours too.

We form the sheet-metal inserts of our dust covers on our own eccentric presses.

Metal Production
FIG. 01 Metal Production

The metal the rubber bonds to carries the part; its dimensions hold from the first stroke to the last.

The sheet-metal inserts used across our dust cover ranges are made in-house. The press tool for each is designed in our machine shop to the customer’s specification and approved before use.

The inserts are formed on eccentric presses. Process checks run throughout and dimensional approvals are taken; performance and traceability records are kept in the MES.
